Signal – We Know Nothing

Most people that use social media platforms don’t truly understand how their own data is being used and why privacy is so valuable. Data privacy is as complex as it is hugely important and conveying that simply is not easy. Our brand campaign for Signal changed that. And it was created with no purchased media and without leveraging any personal data
For the campaign, we launched our global creative platform with a TVC and online video. We extended the campaign with a social series of privacy encounters - provocative social content that sparked new reflections on the personal value of greater privacy. And a blog post that caught fire and helped Signal become the #1 messaging app in over 60 countries.
