Allpaper

Allpaper is an AR wallpaper that uses technology to create a portal to anywhere. For the first edition of Allpaper, THAT Originals collaborated with The National Double Dutch League and creator / illustrator, Edwina White, to bring you “Secret Block Party” where our hand-illustrated wallpaper animates a summer street in Harlem where New Yorkers double dutch. Try it out at home.

Version THAT

AI is being used right now to minimize our exposure to different perspectives, so we wanted to create an experiment to see if we can use AI to push us to see other things. Version THAT is a machine that changes your words into the words of famous writers.

XPress THAT

It’s hard to feel connected when we’re all on mute, so we created a virtual button to help you and your fellow humans express yourselves in video calls. Choose your button sounds from six audio packs, including animals, applause, reactions, live studio audience, emotions, and Dum Dum. You can change the button sounds in real time.

Face THAT

Turning your camera off on a video call is rude. We created a virtual camera that replaces your face with virtual foregrounds so you can be somewhere new.

Watch THAT

We’re all remote and watching videos together online is hard. Watch THAT is a synchronizing screening tool that lets you watch videos together while apart.

Closed Up

Closed Up is a documentary featuring 20 artists and experts trying to connect in the digital space as their hyper-real conference call becomes infected with a virus and takes over their cameras leaving us all asking, “what happens next?”
