A 360 campaign that imagines a world in which the Kraken is real—to inspire the audience to tell epic stories. Social media was overrun with fans trying to learn which new horror film Tom Payne was about to release.
“Absolutely love this commercial. The only thing that can be said is “What’s your story?””
Physical effects and hand drawings authentically pulls the Kraken into our world.
Outtakes and day-of interview footage add depth to the world building.
The campaign made a splash on broadcast, digital, and in physical placements across major markets. There was a measured post-wave increase in “made me want to buy/try,” “made me want to talk about Kraken with friends,” and “made me what to find out more about the brand”.
